Creating your own sounds from scratch isn’t just satisfying! It’s one of the best ways to get inspired and develop a unique sonic identity. This time.. it’s time to get a little weird.
In this session, we’ll explore unusual synthesis techniques using Ableton’s built-in tools. Think creating your own drums using synthesis, FM synthesis for weird percussion, and granular synthesis to transform tiny sounds into massive textures. You’ll learn how to sculpt sounds that stand out; from alien basslines to glitchy atmospheres and beyond.
This workshop will help you unlock the more experimental corners of synthesis without needing a modular wall or a physics degree.
