We’re closing off the year in style with a cozy Christmas time event. This is your chance to show you are the biggest synthesizer freak of Rotterdam and flex your beat making chops.

Whether you’re here to compete or just to enjoy the chaos: you can join a single part of the program or dive into the whole thing. Spectators, sideliners, gear-spotters, and beer-drinkers… All are welcome.

MODULAR SAMPLE LAB — 15:00–17:00
We start off the day with the MODULAR SAMPLE LAB, where our friends from Volt Music Store bring some gear. We crunch the knobs and go crazy on the textures. At the spot we collect the sounds in a Pulsar Sound Lab Christmas Sample Pack.

BEAT BATTLE & OPEN DECKS — 17:00–18:00
Those samples cannot remain untouched! During the BEAT BATTLE you can show off your dexterity in Ableton Live. In an hour, you have to create a beat with only the provided sample pack. Your sample mangling, chopping, and flipping skills can finally be put on display! Or just fool around and join in for fun! Those who won't join the beat battle can join the open decks!

SHOW OFF — 18:00–18:30
You show your beat… The crowd votes… and besides eternal glory… Yes, there are real prizes! (TBA)

BREAK & OPEN DECKS — 18:30–19:30
Grab a drink, reset your ears, or hop behind the decks. Open to everyone.

PRODUCER PUB QUIZ — 19:30–21:00
That’s not all, after a break we go on with the producer pub quiz! Do you recognize the sound of an Oberheim immediately? Finally want to have a use for the fact that you know the sound of every single drum machine on the market? This is your chance! Form a group of 4 to 6 friends and join the producer pubquiz.
