Sure, creating a banging beat is nice… but how do you make your tracks memorable?
You hit them with a hook so catchy it gets stuck in people’s heads for weeks, or a pad so emotional it makes the club collectively sob. For the music theory Neanderthals among you (no shame), In this workshop, we’ll explore tools like generative sequencing, MIDI resampling, and creative MIDI effects. Then we’ll dive into the wild side: crazy MIDI effect chains, generative melody tools, and secret weapons that make the notes basically write themselves.
Of course, the great composers of the past also left behind a few tricks, from thematic writing to call-and-response, and we’ll borrow some of their ideas to make your tracks richer and more musical. You’ll be writing themes and catchy hooks by the time you get out.
